The Lost Warhol Collection was created in collaboration with the brilliant and vibrant Karen Bystedt.
The Lost Warhol Collection began with a photography session of the famous pop artist by NYU film student, Karen Bystedt, in 1982. The negatives, placed in storage for 30 years, were subsequently lost, with only 10 found in 2011. These are The Lost Warhols. Karen conceptualized incorporating Andy within the artwork, working with prominent contemporary artists in mixed media collaboration with the photographs serving as beautiful canvases.
