Through an exploration of geometric forms and kinetic qualities, Lesley has worked on a variety of concepts and structures simultaneously imagining how a piece will fit and move on the wearer.
In her own words: "My production and custom jewellery are all guided by pure instinct and careful construction as I contemplate the properties of precious metals, cold connections, moving parts, and surface finishes. Many pieces are one of a kind; little, wearable chunks and chains of shine and sparkle, for every day and special occasions."
All pieces have been hand fabricated, with curiosity, patience, and focus, in Hamilton Ontario.
